Fusework Studios recently developed a new website for Lafayette, Indiana’s EA Staffing.  The website redesign included enhancements to the site’s overall style, functionality and online communications capability.  As a staffing company EA Staffing needed the capability to frequently update job postings on their website, to make it easier to get found online by prospective clients and easily communicate information to job-seekers.

New Website Design

The previous website had been designed and developed several years earlier and was in need of an up-to-date look that better reflected the company’s current brand as well as met current design standards.  In addition to an enhanced look, the website also lacked an overall architecture that made it possible for website visitors to easily navigate throughout the website.

To remedy these issues Fusework Studios worked with EA Staffing to understand:

• their business goals
• what role they wanted their website to play in helping to accomplish those business goals
• how they wanted website visitors to benefit from visiting the website
• what actions they wanted website visitors to take while on the website

After goals and expectations for the new website were established, Fusework’s design team developed a design concept for the site based on EA Staffing’s style preferences, their brand guidelines and Fusework’s own ideas and suggestions.  From this collaborative effort the new EA Staffing website was able to be developed with a more professional look and easy website navigation.

 Controlling Website Content

Many website owners lack the capability to make changes and updates to their own websites without the help of the original website designer.  EA Staffing was no exception.  Because of how the original website was built, EA Staffing was dependent on the original website designer to make even the smallest changes to the website.  Having to pay a web designer to make updates to their own site also resulted in unnecessary expenses for the company annually.

To eliminate these issues, Fusework Studios built a new website that gave EA Staffing full control over the site with the capability to make changes, updates and edits to the website’s content on their own.  To accomplish this, the new website was built into an easy-to-use Content Management System (CMS) that allows even individuals without any web design and development experience to be able to make changes to the website’s pages.  EA Staffing no longer needs to rely on someone outside of the company for basic updates and changes and is also able to reduce company expense associated with most (if not all) website updates.

Blogging for Search and Communication

To make it easy for EA Staffing to post job openings and information related to employment, Fusework incorporated a blog into the new website design.  By doing so, EA Staffing can now quickly and easily add fresh content to their website that will be organized in a logical manner for website visitors to search through.  Additionally, the new blogging functionality can help drive more web traffic to the EA Staffing website by making it clearer to search engines like Google that they are an authority on staffing and employment.  The new blog can help to improve search rankings.
